

Reverend Dave Hinson is in his third career, with a background in radio broadcasting and teaching. Since June of 2000, Dave has served as pastor of Providence UMC in Barrow County, Wesley Chapel UMC in Putnam County, Lincolnton UMC in Lincoln County, and First Church here in Eatonton. A graduate of Pelham High School, Dave has two degrees from the University of Georgia, and he earned his MDiv. in South Carolina at Erskine Theological Seminary. Dave has been married to Donna since 1986. She is a reporter for the Eatonton Messenger. The Hinsons have two adult children, Tyler and Emily, and one daughter in high school, Shelby. All of the Hinsons' cats have run away except for Charles, and he's getting meaner everyday!
Rev. Hinson serves on the Augusta District UMC Board of Ordained Ministry; as district statistician for the Augusta District; as a member of the board of directors for Putnam Christian Outreach; and as a member of the Eatonton Kiwanis Club. Dave is also active in the Oconee River Basin Walk to Emmaus community. He enjoys all kinds of music (especially jazz), playing the drums, and vacationing at Myrtle Beach.

Boyd grew up in the small town of Gordon, Georgia. After graduating from Wilkinson County High School, he attended Asbury College, Lindsey Wilson College both of Kentucky, and Georgia College which is now known as GC&SU. In 1992, he graduated from Mercer University with degrees in Music and Christianity. He has worked with several churches in the Eatonton area as Minister of Music for more than 25 years. His wife, Mary Alice Chapman of Macon, Georgia, is also involved in the music program and serves as the choir accompanist and children's handbell leader. Boyd and Mary Alice have been serving Eatonton FUMC since June 2006.
Boyd enjoys hunting and fishing and looking at antique car and farm equipment shows and a past time when away from his church duties.

Adam was born and raised in Eatonton. After graduating from Morgan County High School, he attended the University of Georgia. While in Athens, Adam was heavily involved with the UGA Wesley Foundation where he interned from 2008 to 2009 with the Children's Ministry. In December 2008, he graduated from UGA with a Bachelor of Arts in Family and Consumer Sciences with a double major in Child and Family Development and Family Financial Planning. Adam began his ministry at Eatonton First UMC in July 2009. After nearly a year of engagement, Adam married his college sweetheart, Jessica Lynette Davis of Loganville, GA, in December that same year.
Adam is an avid sports fan, especially football and soccer. He enjoys date nights with his wife and late trips to Menchie's. Adam and Jessica love to travel and are excited anytime they get to visit somewhere new. When not in the office, Adam can be found at school lunches, youth sporting events, or hosting his own ministry functions.

Debbie was born and raised in South Carolina. She moved to Eatonton in 1999 with her husband, Phil, and two daughters, Victoria and Ryann. She has been in children's ministry for over 25 years. Debbie has been on staff with Eatonton FUMC for 9 years. In addition to coordinating children's events for the church, she is the director of the Junior Youth Fellowship group, which ministers to children of surrounding churches.
In addition to working in chidlren's ministry, Debbie holds a full-time position with Morgan County Middle School, where she works in the students' services area with special needs students. She shares her love of children in many ways. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and roller skating.
